Alexander Orlovsky, the self-proclaimed crypto expert and founder of the Financial Freedom Academy (FFA), has faced scrutiny for his ties to Russia and questionable business practices. On November 13, Ukrainian authorities added three FFA branches to their list of dubious investment projects, and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) issued a warning about his operations.

Orlovsky recently announced his departure from Binance, citing the exchange’s cooperation with Ukrainian law enforcement. Binance’s compliance with international regulations, including sharing data with authorities, suggests Orlovsky’s activities may have attracted regulatory attention. His exit from Binance could be an attempt to manage his reputation amid growing scrutiny.
