Crypto Hacks Drain $1.26 Billion in Q3
The third quarter of 2026 saw a significant increase in cryptocurrency hacks, with $1.26 billion lost across 247 incidents, according to security firm CertiK.
This figure is almost half as much as the total for the entire year so far, which stands at around $2.68 billion.
The largest cases of the quarter were the attacks on Bitget and Liquid Network, with $387.5 million and $320 million lost respectively.
