Crypto Heist: Masked Men Threaten Pregnant Wife During Home Invasion

A terrifying home invasion in Solihull's Smith's Wood neighborhood left a young couple shaken after they were threatened by three masked men wielding a hammer.

The incident occurred on December 13, 2025, around 5:20 pm when the couple returned home to find three individuals emerging from a nearby car. The gang forced their way into the property and demanded that the couple transfer cryptocurrency.

A fourth offender, believed to be involved in the planned attack, provided instructions via video call. The police suspect that this was a targeted heist due to the nature of the demands.

The couple, who are expecting their third child, were left traumatized by the ordeal and have chosen not to be identified.
