Crypto King Aiden Pleterski Faces Trial for $30M Investor Scam

Aiden Pleterski, a self-proclaimed 'crypto king', is set to defend himself in court next week. The Canadian authorities charged him with money laundering and fraud for allegedly defrauding investors of about $30 million between 2021 and 2022.

Pleterski claimed large weekly profits through savvy investments, which investigators say were false. He is expected to represent himself in the trial after being unable to secure a delay to obtain counsel.
