Crypto Majors Navigate Key Technical Zones Amid Consolidation
Market data shows Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and XRP navigating key technical zones after recent declines and recovery attempts. The three major cryptocurrencies remain in consolidation phases, with each asset displaying different levels of short-term strength.
Bitcoin is attempting to extend its recovery above key moving averages, currently trading around $63,479. Despite holding above the 20-EMA at $63,331, Bitcoin still trades below the 50-EMA, 100-EMA, and 200-EMA. These indicators create a resistance zone between $63,629 and $64,011, indicating that buyers need a strong move above this area to confirm a stronger recovery trend.
Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, faces resistance while bulls defend support levels. The asset trades near $1,855, below the 20-EMA at $1,864 and the 50-EMA at $1,876. Ethereum continues to hold above the 200-EMA near $1,848, which remains a key area for buyers.
XRP struggles to recover from recent selling pressure, trading around $1.074. The 20-EMA remains close to current prices, showing limited short-term momentum. However, the 50-EMA, 100-EMA, and 200-EMA remain above XRP, creating strong resistance between $1.077 and $1.100.
