Crypto Majors Pause Near Recent Highs Amid Slowing Bullish Momentum
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) are experiencing a slowdown in their bullish momentum as they near recent highs. Despite slight pullbacks, all three cryptocurrencies remain above key moving averages.
BTC is facing resistance at $85,000, while ETH is hovering around $2,674 and XRP is holding steady near $1.500. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) suggests constructive momentum without overextension for BTC and ETH, but the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator shows moderating upside pressure.
For BTC, immediate resistance lies at $85,000, with support seen at the 50-day EMA ($77,797) and a broader demand band around $74,300-$74,400. ETH's cluster of EMAs and horizontal level at $2,500 provide a supportive backdrop, but the MACD indicator hints at a mild loss of short-term upside conviction.
XRP shows early signs of weakness after four consecutive days of losses since last week, but maintains a constructive outlook due to its holding above key EMAs. The RSI stays in positive territory without reaching overbought levels, and the MACD flattens just below the zero line, suggesting moderating bullish momentum.
