Crypto Market Breadth Flips: Broad Participation Without Bitcoin
Crypto market breadth has made a significant turnaround in just seven sessions, according to CryptoRank. The QC 100 index rose by 3.68% with 89 constituents advancing and only 10 declining or unchanged. This is a stark contrast to the previous week when there were 27 advancers and 71 decliners.
Despite this broad participation, Bitcoin has only gained 1.05% on the day and remains down 2.03% on the week. Ethereum also lags behind with a weekly loss of 1.11%. However, all ten tracked sectors are showing gains, led by memes at plus 6.13% and DeFi at plus 3.59%.
The recovery is being driven by speculative sectors such as metaverse and platform tokens, which have seen significant gains. Uniswap and Zcash are also leading the charge, with UNI up 10.42% to $6.9145 and ZEC gaining 16.55% to $1,373.30.
