Crypto Market Cap Dips Below $2.26T as Bitcoin Falls Below $64K

The crypto market cap dipped 0.5% to $2.26 trillion on August 11, as Bitcoin fell below $64,000 and Ethereum rose 0.4%. The decline in Bitcoin's price was attributed to rising oil prices and inflation concerns.

The recent Coldcard hack has boosted inflows to crypto ETFs as investors seek alternative ways to secure their digital assets.

Lawmakers had been optimistic about passing the Clarity Act, but it remains in limbo. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) might step in with a regulatory plan, which could improve sentiment and help pull crypto out of its slump.
