The global cryptocurrency market cap reached $3.02 trillion today, increasing by 2.4% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.

This surge is attributed to various factors, including a 2.0% rise in Bitcoin's price to $85,836.57, and gains from top meme coins like Dogwifhat, which jumped 18%, and Pepe, up by 16.9%.

The total trading volume over the same period reached $147 billion, with Bitcoin dominance at 57.3%. Meanwhile, Ethereum's price increased by 1.1% to $2,740.44, while XRP rose by 2.6% to $1.53.
