The global cryptocurrency market saw a decline of 1.1% in its capitalization to $2.28 trillion over the past 24 hours, according to Coin Gabbar. Bitcoin's (BTC) dominance remains strong at 56.4%, while Ethereum (ETH) holds 9.85%. Despite this, some assets managed to show gains.
The largest gainers in the industry over the past day are Polkadot and the XRP Ledger Ecosystem. DeXe price today skyrocketed 144.63% to $4.16, with trading activity of $678.69 million, while LayerZero gained 8.87% to $0.8619. Audiera also climbed 7.82% to $3.27.
On the other hand, some assets suffered losses. The Stablecoin Market reflects a 0.2% negative change over the past 24 hours, with a capitalization of $303 billion and trading volume of $57.4 billion. The Overall (DeFi) Decentralized Finance market declined 0.1% over the last 24 hours, recording a market cap of $63.3 billion.
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index Today sits at 27 (Fear), slightly below yesterday's 28, but improved from last week's 25 and last month's 12, showing gradual sentiment recovery from Extreme Fear.
