Crypto Market Defies Stock Slide, Holds Ground at $2.19 Trillion
The cryptocurrency market has shown resilience in the face of the stock market slump, maintaining its value at $2.19 trillion over the past 24 hours.
This stability is a significant departure from the trend seen at the start of the year, when the crypto market was heavily influenced by the equity market's performance.
Despite the downturn in the Nasdaq tech index, cryptocurrencies such as Uniswap and Zcash have seen gains of 4% and 2.1%, respectively, while Dash and Aave declined by around 2.5%.
Bitcoin's price has hovered around $64,000, finding support from buyers but lacking the fundamental drivers to resume its upward trend.
