Crypto Market Hits $2.76 Trillion as NEAR Protocol and Venice Token Soar
The cryptocurrency market has reached a total valuation of $2.76 trillion, despite recent interest rate increases and high crude oil prices. NEAR Protocol, Venice Token (VVV), and Hyperliquid are among the top gainers in the sector.
NEAR Protocol, which operates on a layer-1 blockchain featuring privacy-focused trading and an AI agent marketplace, has outpaced larger names like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Its price recently rose to $3.78, surpassing its year-to-date low of $0.85.
The token broke above the key resistance at $3.08, a signal for potential continued upward movement according to technical analysts. However, NEAR has also moved into overbought territory with an RSI of 85, signaling near-term caution.
Venezia Token is trading near its all-time high of $29.30, with the next major target set at $35. The project uses a portion of fiat transaction fees to buy back and permanently remove tokens from circulation, which has contributed to its performance.
Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual trading platform, experienced an upswing after US President Donald Trump's support for its entry into the American market was announced. Its trading volume surpassed $240 billion over the past 30 days, outpacing competitors like Aster and Lighter.
