Crypto Market Mixed as Earnings Week Looms
The crypto market is showing mixed signals as of August 2, with some assets rising and others dropping. Bitcoin (BTC) has increased by 0.72% to trade at $63,460, while Ethereum (ETH) has gained 0.45% to reach $1,870.
XRP is the biggest gainer among top ten largest cryptos by market cap, having risen by 1.49% to trade at $1.08. However, BNB and Dogecoin are down by 1.19% and 0.12%, respectively.
The mixed outlook comes after Coinbase and Strategy released their earnings on July 30, leading to a slight drop in the market following net losses during the quarter. This week, Circle will report its Q2 2026 earnings on August 4, with expectations of $0.18 per share, an 82% drop from last year.
Bitcoin's rounded bottom pattern on the four-hour chart suggests that $62,518 is a key support level. The Asset-Oscillator bars are green and shrinking in length, indicating a loss of bearish momentum.
