Crypto Market on Brink as CLARITY Act and Iran Tensions Loom
Crypto market analyst Dan Gambardello warns that the cryptocurrency market is approaching a critical decision point, influenced by both technical charts and global developments. This moment of truth will be shaped by the CLARITY Act process in the US Senate and renewed conflicts with Iran.
Gambardello emphasizes that crypto assets despise uncertainty above all, highlighting US operations against military targets in Iran and conflicting news from Washington. He notes that uncertainties surrounding the crypto market structure law are putting pressure on prices.
Despite a potential breakthrough on August 7th, before the August recess, Gambardello warns that if the bill does not come to a floor vote, it would prolong the horizontal and sharp fluctuations in the bottoming process. On the technical side, Bitcoin is forming an unconfirmed 'inverse head-and-shoulders' pattern.
According to Gambardello's assessment, a sustained move toward the 200-day moving average at $72,000 could signal a strong bullish signal after months of weak performance. However, he warns that if this support breaks, the price could drop to the $48,000 - $57,000 band.
