The cryptocurrency market started the day under pressure, with both Bitcoin and Ethereum trading in the red. Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, was trading at $2,674, which equals ₽225,761 per coin.
Among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap, Zcash showed the best daily result, gaining 2.04%. Solana was the growth leader for the week, with a result of 0.12%. The most significant losses in the top 10 over 24 hours were seen by Hyperliquid, which fell by 1.57%. Over the week, Zcash dropped the most: minus 11.86%.
The fear and greed index dropped to 71 points, remaining in the greed zone. The day before, the value was 73 points. A week ago, the index was also at 71 points, and a month ago, at 62 points.
OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, is seeking $30 billion in new funding, which could raise the company's valuation to $1.4 trillion and make it one of the world's most valuable companies even before going public. Talks are at an early stage, with interest in the deal supported by investor demand.
