Crypto Market Rebounds on Jobs Report Expectations, Institutional Flows
The crypto market is experiencing a recovery, driven by various factors including macro positioning, institutional flows, and improving derivatives activity. According to recent data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $2.65 billion in September, with the latest session seeing $148.7 million of outflows after a nine-session inflow streak.
The market is also anticipating the upcoming U.S. jobs report, which could impact October rate expectations and Treasury yields. Economists expect payroll growth to slow to roughly 90,000, while unemployment is forecast at 4.1%, making the report critical for October rate expectations.
Bitcoin price has climbed toward $86,000, with Ethereum and XRP also advancing as traders position ahead of the jobs report. Bitcoin's chart structure shows it holding above its recent breakout base, with buyers now challenging the upper end of the range.
