Crypto Market Remains Range-Bound as Bitcoin Battles Resistance
The crypto market remains range-bound, despite showing some volatility in recent days. The total market capitalization has barely changed over the past 24 hours, hovering around $2.19 trillion.
Polarisation within the market has intensified, with a widening trading range among the most actively traded coins. The top performers include XRP, which gained 3.9%, followed by LTC and ETH at 2.8% and 2.5% respectively.
In stark contrast to traditional equities, the crypto market showed little correlation with the equity market's decline on Tuesday. Bitcoin touched $65,000 briefly but was met with selling pressure that pushed it down to $64,300.
The battle for dominance is centred around the $63,700 level, as evident from the sequence of lower highs and higher lows. A break above or below this range will indicate a clear direction for Bitcoin.
