Metaplanet Invests $134.6M in U.S. Bitcoin Treasury Platform Acquisition

Japanese company Metaplanet is set to acquire a majority stake in Nasdaq-listed Super League Enterprise through an investment of approximately $134.6 million.

The deal involves Metaplanet's U.S. unit providing assets totaling about $134.6 million, consisting of 2,100 BTC valued at around $132.1 million and $2.5 million in cash.

In exchange for the investment, Metaplanet will receive a combination of Super League preferred stock, common stock, and warrants.
