Crypto Market Sees 2% Gain as Bitcoin Struggles Above $84K

The cryptocurrency market saw a 2% gain over the past 24 hours, pushing its total market capitalization back towards $3 trillion.

Solana's price surged to $120 for the first time in eight months, while XRP (XRP) and Solana (SOL) led gains among top cryptocurrencies, with XRP rallying by as much as 5.4% to around $1.50.

However, Bitcoin (BTC) struggled to hold above $84,000, edging only 0.3% higher in the last 24 hours to trade at around $83,900.

Crypto analyst Ted Pillows stated that Bitcoin needs to reclaim $85,300 to establish a stronger uptrend.
