Crypto Market Sees Significant Boost Amid ETF Flows and Softening Bond Yields
The cryptocurrency market has seen a significant boost in recent days due to increased buying pressure from ETF flows. This surge has lifted Bitcoin's price to a 24-hour high of $87,360. The aggregate market capitalization has also increased by over 1 percent, with trading volumes rising by 28 percent.
The influx of funds into Bitcoin Spot ETF products in the U.S. has been substantial, with net inflows reaching $999 million on Monday from $433 million on Friday. iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) led the charge, with net inflows of $381 million, followed closely by ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC).
The surge in cryptocurrency prices can also be attributed to the softening of bond yields and the dollar's mild retreat. Additionally, the hopes of a fresh diplomatic rescue effort to end the prolonged Middle East crisis have led to a decline in crude oil prices, which has further contributed to the increase in cryptocurrency prices.
