Crypto Market Stabilizes Amidst Altcoin Slump
The cryptocurrency market was on edge over the weekend as top altcoins continued their downward trend. Bitcoin remained stuck in a narrow range above $84,000, while the overall valuation of tokens rose to $2.89 trillion.
One token that stood out from the pack is Quant (QNT), which has been performing exceptionally well in recent days. QNT's price jumped to its highest level since October 2022 after several major banks in the UK used its technology for tokenized deposits, sparking investor optimism about its future prospects.
A key technical indicator supporting this bullish trend is a falling wedge pattern that has formed over months. However, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) reaching 93.50, the highest level in over a year, there's a risk of a reversal once the 'FOMO' phase ends.
Zcash (ZEC), on the other hand, has been in a strong bullish trend this month and is currently trading at its highest level this year at $1,650. The token's price surge can be attributed to rising demand for privacy coins and futures open interest.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) of ZEC has formed a bearish divergence pattern, indicating that the token may drop to the key support level of $1,288. Cardano (ADA), meanwhile, is currently in a slow upward trend, having jumped from a low of $0.1388 in June to its current price of $0.2532.
Cardano's rising channel pattern suggests two potential scenarios: it may jump above the upper side of the channel and move to the psychological level of $0.300 or drop to the lower side of the channel.
