Crypto Market Stages Broad Recovery After Turbulent Week
The cryptocurrency market has staged a broad recovery after a turbulent week shaped by rate hikes in Washington and Tokyo, as well as a failed regulatory push on Capitol Hill.
Total crypto market capitalization climbed 6.77% over 24 hours to $2.78 trillion, with Bitcoin breaking back above $81,000.
Solana gained 12%, Ethereum rose nearly 8%, and Arbitrum jumped 29%, while XRP recovered from a low near $1.24 to around $1.42 after the Senate's decision not to pass the CLARITY Act.
Crypto analyst Austin Hilton noted that the rebound lacked an obvious trigger, pointing instead to pent-up demand as the primary driver of the surge, with sidelined capital rushing back into the market as prices began to climb.
Solana is now approaching technical levels that will determine whether the rebound has staying power, with support near $109.70 and resistance sitting near $114, while XRP's indicators reflect buying strength but it still faces key resistance at $1.47.
