Crypto Market Stays Firm Despite ETF Outflows and Security Risks
The crypto market opened October trading on a steady note, with total market cap rising by 1.02% to $2.89 trillion.
Bitcoin led the gains, adding 1.08% to jump above the $84K range, while Ethereum surged 1.58%, outperforming its rival.
However, not all signals were green, as crypto ETFs saw significant outflows of over $200M in combined net outflows, driven by Bitcoin funds losing $148.69M and Ether ETFs shedding $59.58M.
Cooler inflation data, a major stablecoin launch, and new tax proposals gave traders plenty to weigh, but the market's firm footing may be tempered by security risks, rule changes, and uneven ETF demand.
