The crypto market has shown signs of recovery after a prolonged bearish period. According to Santiment, social media chatter about the market being 'dead' began to dissipate as prices surged. Bitcoin's price increased by $14,264 (22.7%) in one week, reaching $77,387.

Martin Gaspar, senior crypto market strategist at FalconX, attributed this growth to the U.S. Treasury's announcement of increasing purchases of longer-dated Treasuries. This move is likened to Federal Reserve quantitative easing, which can support the price of Bitcoin as a debasement hedge.

Maxime Seiler, co-founder and CEO of STS Digital, noted that short sellers were the first to act, followed by fresh capital entering the market. Institutional participants quickly re-engaged in trading, with volumes increasing significantly since last Sunday.
