Crypto Market Surges with Predictions and Developments
Tom Lee of Fundstrat Global Advisors believes Ethereum is 'vastly undervalued', despite its recent rally. He cites tokenization, AI agents, and institutional adoption as potential drivers for a major price increase. According to Lee, improving crypto fundamentals have been overlooked by the market, which is still recovering from what he calls a deep crypto winter.
On the other hand, Beth Kindig predicts that Bitcoin's long-term price target will be $2 million. This projection comes from an I/O Fund analysis that found Bitcoin's aggregate volume has dropped to its lowest level in two years, indicating a lack of buying interest near recent lows.
Japan is also making waves in the crypto space by exploring blockchain technology for real-time settlement of stocks and bonds. The country's Financial Services Agency, Ministry of Finance, Bank of Japan, and several financial institutions are collaborating to develop a comprehensive strategy by early 2027.
