Crypto Market Surpasses $3 Trillion as Bitcoin and Altcoins Rally
The cryptocurrency market has surpassed $3 trillion in value for the first time since its recent dip. This surge is attributed to Bitcoin and major altcoins experiencing a broad rally. Bitcoin's price has risen by about 4.5% over the past 24 hours, trading around $86,000 according to CoinGecko.
Other notable altcoins have also seen significant gains, with Ether (ETH) increasing by about 2.3% to $2,745 and XRP rising 5.7% to $1.53. Solana (SOL) has advanced 3.6% to $117, while BNB gained 1.6%. Dogecoin (DOGE), in particular, has seen an impressive increase of about 11%, making it one of the strongest large-cap performers.
The total crypto market cap is just below $3 trillion at the time of writing, representing a gain of about 4.3% over the previous day. The increasing leverage in perpetual futures across crypto has reached nearly $160 billion, its highest level since late October 2025, according to Bloomberg.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs have also seen significant inflows, with nearly $1 billion drawn on Monday, their largest single-day inflow since October 2025. Akedo's AKE token has emerged as one of the week's biggest movers, rising about 170% over the past seven days and lifting its market cap to roughly $1.2 billion.
