Crypto Markets Bracing for $900M Token Unlocks in Week Four
Over $900 million in tokens is set to be unlocked across various protocols in the fourth week of September 2026. This significant influx of liquidity will test market conditions and price discovery.
The majority of this supply pressure comes from three projects: Plasma, Humanity, and SoSoValue. On September 25, Plasma will release 1.76 billion XPL tokens valued at approximately $159.9 million. These tokens are directed towards early investors and ecosystem growth funds.
Humanity's native asset, H, will also be released on the same day in the amount of 266.47 million tokens valued at roughly $19.3 million. The distribution targets early contributors, strategic reserves, and identity-verification reward pools.
Meanwhile, SoSoValue will release 23.46 million SOSO tokens on September 24, worth around $7 million. These tokens will be distributed evenly between core contributors and institutional investors.
