Crypto Markets Dip Amid Geopolitical Tensions
Crypto markets have pulled back today, resulting in a decline of $2.68 trillion in total market capitalization over the past 24 hours.
The trading volume has been substantial at $62.13 billion, but it hasn't been enough to stem the losses for Bitcoin, which dropped 0.8% to $77,664.88, or Ethereum, which fell by 2.0% to $2,417.73.
XRP also took a hit, plummeting by 3.4% to $1.35.
The downturn in crypto markets is largely attributed to the current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which have triggered risk-off sentiment across various asset classes.
