Crypto Markets Eye Strong October Following Q3 Rally
Crypto markets entered October after a strong third quarter, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP showing gains in September. Bitcoin rose about 7% to end the month around $83,000-$84,000, while Ethereum gained roughly 7% to finish at $2,650-$2,700.
Institutional demand has been a key factor driving prices higher, with U.S. spot ETFs attracting significant inflows in September. For example, Bitcoin ETFs brought in about $2.4 billion during the week ending Sept. 25, their strongest weekly inflow since October 2025.
Ethereum's upcoming Glamsterdam testnet is another potential catalyst for the market, with testing set to begin on Oct. 6. This could provide a fundamental boost to the network and potentially drive prices higher.
