Crypto Market's Mixed Bag: Winners and Losers of the Week
This week's crypto market saw mixed results, but some altcoins managed to shine. Bitcoin's price action was volatile, breaking above $87,000 before pulling back below $84,000. Meanwhile, Citibank raised its 12-month Bitcoin price target to $113,000, signaling increased optimism in the market.
Midnight (NIGHT) led the pack with an impressive 85% rally, pushing its price back to late Q1 levels. The altcoin has been in a consistent accumulation phase, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) still supporting the bullish scenario. If buying pressure holds, NIGHT could move above $0.05.
Quant (QNT) was the second-biggest gainer, up 50%, but its technical structure is becoming overbought. The RSI is deeply penetrated into the green area, suggesting a risk of near-term selling pressure. However, bulls need to protect the $260 area to prevent a sharper correction.
Pump.fun (PUMP) scored a 25% increase, with its RSI still below the overbought level. This suggests steady and strategic accumulation, giving PUMP more room to grow. If the structure holds, a breakout above $0.06 could trigger a FOMO-driven move toward $0.08.
On the other hand, Lighter (LIT) was the worst performer, plunging by 20%. The altcoin's selloff has brought it back down to the early-August zone around $3.50, leaving the door open for another leg lower if the bears continue their attack.
