Crypto Markets See Surge in Prices Driven by Institutional Flows and Project-Specific Developments
Crypto markets have seen a recent surge in prices, driven by various factors such as institutional flows, project-specific developments, and speculative demand. Among the notable coins is Bitcoin (BTC), which has recovered from its June low of around $58,000 to reach above $86,000 in September.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of nearly $1 billion in one session, while a strategy bought another 950 BTC for $75.7 million. This institutional demand has helped drive the price up, and traders are now watching to see whether demand remains strong after the short squeeze fades.
Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, has been trailing behind Bitcoin but is starting to narrow the gap. Institutional buying has picked up, with BitMine buying 27,000 ETH in one week, taking its holdings to almost 5.98 million ETH.
Other coins like Solana (SOL) and XRP are also seeing strong interest, driven by network upgrades and ETF inflows. However, the market is becoming more selective, and traders should focus on coins with a clear catalyst and enough trading activity to support their move.
