Crypto Markets Surge as Bitcoin Hits $86,500
Crypto markets are on the move as Bitcoin has pushed through $86,500 and is up about 14% on the week. The total crypto market cap has surpassed $3 trillion. Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $999 million Monday.
Alongside the surge in Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH) hit $2,750, while SOL reached $120. Several altcoins have also seen significant gains, with Hype, ZEC, and VVV all hitting new all-time highs.
The oil market is also experiencing a downturn, with Brent briefly falling below $98 and WTI under $93. This has contributed to the rally in crypto markets.
