Crypto Markets Witness Historic Short Liquidation Amid BTC and ETH Gains
Cryptocurrency markets witnessed their largest short position liquidation in history on Wednesday, with over $1 billion in shorts being wiped out within a few hours.
According to Coinglass data, 126,017 traders were liquidated over the past 24 hours for a total of $1.92 billion.
In related news, spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $189.3 million on Tuesday, while Ethereum's counterpart witnessed $71.5 million in net inflows.
Several assets experienced significant gains, including Bitway and MemeCore, which surged over 10% in the past day.
