Crypto Millionaires Hit Record High as Bitcoin Price Remains Below Peak
The number of crypto millionaires worldwide has hit a record high, despite Bitcoin's price still being below its peak last year. According to Henley & Partners' Crypto Wealth Report 2026, there are now 135,694 people who hold at least $1 million in digital assets, with 92,272 of them being Bitcoin millionaires. Their wealth primarily comes from holding the coin itself.
The report also found that 290 individuals worldwide have more than $100 million in crypto, with 151 of them holding most of their wealth in Bitcoin. At the very top, there are 23 crypto billionaires, nine of whom built their fortunes through Bitcoin.
Meanwhile, the global crypto market is valued at around $2.6 trillion, with Bitcoin making up roughly $1.6 trillion of that total. However, Bitcoin's price has fallen by about 38% since its record high in October 2025, which is a milder decline compared to past crypto downturns.
