Crypto PAC Drops $11M to Block Sherrod Brown in Ohio Senate Race

Share

A political action committee (PAC) affiliated with crypto-industry interests has allocated $11.4 million to block Senator Sherrod Brown's potential return to the Senate in Ohio.

The Defend American Jobs PAC, which is backed by Coinbase- and Ripple Labs-related interests through its affiliation with Fairshake, reported this substantial ad spend to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Thursday.

This significant investment comes as part of a larger campaign strategy tied to Fairshake's involvement, with an initial pledge to deploy $30 million in the Ohio contest to prevent Brown from regaining his seat.
