Crypto PAC Fairshake Continues Election Spending Surge
Crypto-backed PACs have made significant gains in Michigan and Washington's primary races. The Fairshake-affiliated Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress committees directed hundreds of thousands of dollars to support their preferred candidates.
In Michigan's Republican primary, Rep. Bill Huizenga secured the nomination after receiving nearly $512,000 from Defend American Jobs. This was part of a broader effort by Fairshake-backed groups in multiple states.
The PAC has continued its spending spree across various states, including Maryland, New York, Utah, and Alabama. In Washington, incumbent Democratic Representatives Suzan DelBene, Kim Schrier, and Marilyn Strickland advanced in their party primaries after receiving support from Protect Progress.
