Crypto PACs Secure Key Primary Wins in Michigan and Washington
Crypto-backed PACs have made significant strides in the 2026 election cycle, securing primary victories for pro-crypto candidates in Michigan and Washington.
Fairshake affiliates spent hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting both Republican and Democratic congressional candidates, with the latest primary wins adding to a series of victories for crypto-funded groups.
According to the Associated Press and Tech Influence Watch, Republican Rep. Bill Huizenga won Michigan's Republican primary after receiving nearly $512,000 in support from Defend American Jobs, while Democratic Reps. Suzan DelBene, Kim Schrier, and Marilyn Strickland, along with Republican Amanda McKinney, advanced in Washington.
Fairshake-backed candidates now move closer to the November general election, where they will face off against their opponents in highly competitive congressional districts.
