Ripple's XRP Ledger Tokenisation Infrastructure Reaches New Milestones

Ripple's strategy to grow XRP Ledger (XRPL) beyond a payments network is showing promising signs. Tokenised real-world assets (RWA) on XRPL have reached $4.06 billion, with the number of holders increasing by 25.16% over the past 30 days.

The growth in tokenised RWA is attributed to Ripple's efforts to develop XRPL into a tokenisation infrastructure for institutions. The platform currently lists 373 tokenised RWAs, with distributed asset value totalling $368.82 million.

Stablecoins have also become a significant pillar of the XRPL ecosystem, with a market capitalisation of $901.4 million and approximately 60,240 related holders.

Ripple's recent investments in infrastructure companies ZILO and Licuido are expected to further expand XRPL's institutional capabilities, bringing digital asset issuance and collateral management functions onto the platform.
