Crypto Perpetual Futures Volume Hits 31-Month Low
Crypto perpetual futures trading volume plummeted to $4 trillion in July, marking its lowest level since December 2023, according to data from CryptoRank. This represents a significant contraction in investor sentiment amid the ongoing crypto bear market.
Binance led the way with approximately $1.4 trillion in perpetual futures volume, followed by OKX and Bybit, which accounted for around $607 billion and $300 billion respectively.
The spot market also experienced a decline, with daily crypto spot trading volume falling 23.6% over the course of a month from $17.8 billion to $13.6 billion.
