Crypto Price Action: Cardano Hits Support, Ethereum Holds Highs, Hedera Faces Pressure
Cardano (ADA), Ethereum (ETH), and Hedera (HBAR) each have their own unique price structures as they enter August 6. Cardano's price has continued to decline, but it is currently testing major support near $0.185. A successful break above this level could turn the short-term structure bullish again, with ADA potentially targeting resistance near $0.199.
Cardano's technical indicators are mixed, with a neutral reading from the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and a sell signal from the Stochastic Oscillator. However, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is in positive territory, indicating some underlying recovery strength remains present.
Ethereum, on the other hand, has preserved its recent advance and currently trades between support near $1,886 and resistance around $1,924. A clean move above $1,924 could send ETH price toward $1,978 today. However, a breakdown below $1,886 could pull the asset toward $1,853.
Hedera, meanwhile, faces further pressure after losing its key support level near $0.0687. This leaves HBAR exposed to a possible decline toward $0.0674 today. A recovery above this level would be needed for Hedera to reclaim its previous range between $0.0687 and $0.070.
