Crypto Prices Stabilize as Ethereum and XRP Test Key Levels
Ethereum's price has rebounded from its recent low and is now testing the top of its range. The cryptocurrency has been trading between $2,350 and $2,550 since mid-August, with moves towards the lower end leading to rebounds and moves towards the upper end meeting resistance.
The current price of $2,482 puts $2,550 within reach if Ethereum remains above the midpoint of its range. However, a fall below $2,440 would weaken this near-term outlook, but still keep the price inside its broader range.
Indicators are mixed, with Ethereum's RSI showing modest strength and its MACD remaining negative. The Ultimate Oscillator supports the upward move, while Bull/Bear Power shows buyers currently have the advantage.
XRP has returned to a level it lost earlier this week, testing whether former support will now act as resistance. If XRP cannot move above $1.32, the price could retreat toward $1.28 today.
Cardano's price has retested its recent high of $0.213 after a strong four-hour candle, and it is unclear whether this level can hold as support. A bullish day would see ADA defend $0.213 and test $0.223.
