Crypto Prices Stuck in Sideways Trading Ahead of October Breakout
Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Cardano (ADA) are trading sideways, trying to break out of their recent ranges. Ethereum has been stuck between $2,600 and $2,800 since September 23, while Bitcoin needs stronger momentum to move beyond $82,685. Cardano is testing the upper part of its $0.235 to $0.26 range.
The indicator readings offer some encouragement for buyers, but they do not all point in the same direction. Ethereum's RSI reading places it above the midpoint, giving buyers a modest advantage, while the MACD reading offers a less positive view. Bitcoin's RSI is close to balanced with a small positive bias, and its MACD value points to negative momentum.
Each token has nearby levels that could help distinguish another day of sideways trading from a more decisive move. Ethereum needs to break above $2,800 to move toward $2,900, while Bitcoin requires stronger buying pressure to support the proposed $87,000 upside scenario.
