Crypto Projects Thrive in Bear Market Despite Sluggish Conditions
This year's crypto market has been sluggish, but some projects have managed to generate significant revenue despite the bear market.
Pump.fun, a platform that allows users to create and trade tokens, is one such example. It generated $41.53 million in revenue over the past 30 days, making it the most profitable crypto-native project during this period.
The platform's core revenue comes from ongoing trading of new tokens on its platform, with a fee structure that allocates 0.95% of transaction fees to the protocol and 0.30% to the token creator.
Hyperliquid, another platform, has also been generating significant revenue despite low trading volumes. Its revenue primarily comes from perpetual contract and spot trading fees, with a tiered fee structure that rewards higher trading volumes and HYPE staking amounts.
Uniswap, the leading decentralized exchange, has also begun to generate protocol revenue, earning $5.6 million in the past 30 days. Chainlink, an infrastructure business, has maintained relatively stable monthly revenue of around $5-6 million.
