Crypto Security Losses Surge by 53.9% in Third Quarter

Crypto security incidents led to significant losses in the third quarter of this year. According to recent data, crypto security losses reached $1.26 billion during this period, a 53.9% increase from the $819.4 million recorded in the second quarter.

This rise in losses coincides with an increase in the number of security incidents. There were 247 such incidents in the third quarter, which is 12.8% more than in the prior three-month period.
