Crypto Sentiment Scales New Heights Amid Bitcoin Rally
Crypto investor sentiment has reached an extreme level of greed for the first time since late 2024, as the market continues to rally.
The CoinMarketCap Crypto Fear and Greed Index rose significantly over the past month, from about 36 to 81 on Sunday and holding steady at 80 on Monday. This sharp turnaround in investor mood is a clear indication of increased confidence in digital assets.
Bitcoin led the sentiment shift, rising by approximately 22% over the past week, which has taken its share of the crypto market to 59.7%. Ethereum held 11.2%, while open interest in perpetual futures reached $431.93 billion. Bitcoin's implied volatility was 45.36%, compared with 60.58% for Ethereum.
