Crypto Trader Misses Out on $3 Million Profit Due to Precipitous Sale

Share

The cryptocurrency market is notorious for its unpredictability, and investors often find themselves on the wrong side of big price swings.

A recent case study by Lookonchain highlights the risks of selling too early. A trader bought 7.99 million PONS tokens a month ago for approximately $443,000 but cashed out their entire position after the price dropped, resulting in a $308,000 loss.

However, what happened next must have been devastating for the trader: PONS skyrocketed by around 1,100% over two weeks, with Lookonchain estimating that those same 7.99 million coins would now be worth nearly $3.46 million.

This means the investor missed out on a potential profit of at least $3 million (paper profits, of course).
