Crypto Traders Lose $31 Million in One Hour as Long Positions Dominate

Crypto liquidations surged to $31.52 million in just one hour on September 28, according to data from TokenPost. The majority of these losses were due to long positions, which accounted for a staggering 98% of the total.

During the hour ending at 9:33 p.m. ET, Binance recorded $19.72 million in liquidations, followed by OKX at $8.31 million and Bybit at $3.50 million.

The asset with the highest number of liquidations was ZEC, which totaled $10.46 million, while Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) accounted for $2.60 million and $2.51 million respectively.
