Crypto VC Funding Hits $5.6 Billion in Q2 2026 Amid Rebound

Share

Crypto and blockchain venture funding saw a significant rebound in Q2 2026, according to Galaxy Research. The sector received approximately $5.6 billion across 384 deals, marking a 31% increase from the previous quarter.

The majority of this funding went towards later-stage companies, which captured 78.3% of total capital invested. U.S.-based companies dominated this trend, accounting for 73.5% of the total capital received.

However, fundraising for new crypto venture funds remains a challenge, with only five new funds raising $3.9 billion in Q2, the lowest quarterly fund count since Q4 2019.
