Crypto VC Funding Sees $178.6 Million in Disclosed Transactions
The cryptocurrency financing landscape saw significant activity from September 26 to October 2, with four disclosed transactions totaling $178.6 million. Jeeves took the lead with a $110 million equity round led by CoinFund. This financing is crucial for Jeeves' stablecoin business payments, with the company's annualized card and payments volume exceeding $5 billion, including $1.5 billion settled through stablecoins. Jeeves also introduced a stablecoin wallet with payouts to 190 countries, an AI spending tracker, and an accounts receivable module.
In addition to Jeeves, World Assets disclosed $49 million in WLD sales, carrying a one-year lockup. The transactions were private token sales, rather than an equity investment in Tools for Humanity or a conventional venture round. Solana Company priced a $15 million registered direct offering with accompanying warrants. Raven and Grass also announced investments without disclosing the amounts.
Jeeves' $110 million equity round included investors such as AllianceBernstein, Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, CRV, GIC, Global PayTech Ventures, ParaFi, Vista, Wintermute, and Y Combinator. The company is expanding its stablecoin card offering from 25 to 35 countries and opening a Madrid office. CoinFund managing partner David Pakman cited Jeeves' existing business customers across Latin America, the United States, and Europe as a reason for backing the round.
