Crypto Wallets Don't Equal Business Success for AI Startups
AI agents can make payments using crypto wallets, but that doesn't mean their startups have functioning business operations. A working agent wallet only answers one question, where funds came from and went to, without providing context on who requested the task or how it relates to customer payments.
When a company has multiple views to reconcile, confusion can arise, making it seem like a busy product is more successful than it actually is. Transaction volume is visible, but the cost of delivering each job is scattered across wallets, cards, and invoices.
A newly incorporated startup may have no historical revenue to show, but its payment needs shouldn't wait. Founders should prepare a clear description of their business, expected activity, and source of funds when applying for an account. Eligibility and verification still apply.
